Indigo Turns Red

red

The Oasis is largely decorated in moody blues including my signature colour Indigo. However there are a few touches of red especially in this little corner of my studio/bedroom area…

The windows feature maroon velvet curtains – cliqued I know, but they keep the heat out beautifully. They also form a backdrop for my blue filing cabinet which contains a collection of adult toys – the blue ones of course.

On top of the cabinet is my take on a 17th century Dutch Still Life or Vanitas arrangement. This includes the following: a series of cardboard art sculptures (masked for privacy); a floral arrangement in a cornucopia vase; a vintage male torso dressed in a wetsuit (use your imagination); an art deco silver tray with a set of 1960’s deep blue glass coffee cups which is what I drink spirits from occasionally, and perched on top my riding crop and the new red flogger I bought at Sexpo a couple of weeks ago…

And before you ask I’ve only taken it for a minor test run… watch this space…

To see more kinky arrangements in the key of Red, give the  sexy lips a kiss…

Sinful Sunday

    • Thanks Tabitha. I like to sit up in my bed Southern Comfort in hand and enjoy my decadent space. I have a few nudes/victorian undies artworks people have done of me when I was modelling as well as my own works, and a wardrobe rail with my Indigo “dress ups” on the other side.
I loved your sexy red lips today they looked wonderful!

    • Thanks May. It will be hard for my friend but shes a fighter… Glad you like my set up! I have a turquoise coloured saddle as well which drapes over a low stool. My favorite blue dildo sticks to it quite nicely…

  2. What a wonderful still life Indie. I just loved all the notes about the objects. I’m sure Aubrey Beardsley would have enjoyed your room as much as I do. A real treasure trove of pleasure and delight. CP x

    • Thanks CP. I try to make it a sensual retreat while ensuring I don’t scare my builder, my church going friend who visits when I’m up there or my grandkids… I haven’t thought of Beardsley for ages, must look up his images again… Thanks. Indie x

    • Thanks Michael! It’s one of my favorite parts of the Oasis. I really can’t claim much credit for the lighting, but I will take credit for spotting that it was a good time to take the pic…

    • Thanks Aurora, glad you like it. I confess that if I could have bought the flogger in Indigo I would have. I picked up the curtains in an op shop for about $20 and they are very heavy but stop the summer sun fairly well. I have the matching one on the studio part of the room – it will make a great backdrop if/when I start life drawing classes.
