FPF 2018 #25 – Flora

IMG_2904 blurA little too concealing for #SinfulSunday tastes? There’s another image from this photo shoot and a short story forthcoming on #MasturbationMonday and #FPF2018 #26…

This one’s for all my Northern friends who are hoping that Spring reveals herself in all her glory soon….

As soon as I saw this fabric it reminded me of the dress worn by the Goddess Flora in Botticelli’s celebrated painting La Primavera…

I laughed when I saw Molly’s glorious layered image for #Boobday and #FebruaryPhotoFest 2018

I had a fine day’s hunting at the Industrial Recyclers the other day. I was supposed to be picking up cardboard tubes and other construction materials for the art class this week, but the lovely woman in charge realised I liked beautiful fabric and pulled out several stunning pieces including this one, she had tucked away for a “discerning customer”. Expect to see this glorious material and some other kinkier bits and pieces (eg rubber and webbing) featured on #SinfulSunday in the future – hopefully with a better camera (and photographer)… I also scored a small collection of paired up iron-on embroidery patches which will make fun and festive nipple shields in future posts…

    • Don’t you just love the co-incidence of our mutual floral moments this week! I bought more gorgeous fabric so it will feature in various ways, especially if I can get my photographer friends active… Indie x

  1. We’re at the tail end of winter up here and I’ve been in snow for weeks. While I love winter, I’ve been dreaming of spring and flowery lingerie. This picture epitomizes everything I’m looking forward to, the sun, the naked freedom and something floral and lacey 🙂

  2. I love the fabric and you ethereal image Indie. It really does make me think of La Primavera. I love your recounting of your visit to the recycling centre. ‘Saving it for a discerning customer’ was a great line.

  3. I think Flora just stands out in that painting. She’s the only one there who knows we’re looking at her. And she’s hot.

Like you! I love the homage to her, and your own photo! You bring on the spring!
