Sun, Moon and Stars

I was going to write something for #MasturbationMonday, because I loved the prompt, but written inspiration was lacking, then I remembered I’d covered the heavenly bodies in some form in photos posted on #SinfulSunday some time ago. So may I humbly suggest you get out your telescopes and peruse the images on offer – again…

FPF2018#7 – Messenger

Messenger was posted as part of the February Photography Fest, on February 6, 2018. The Messenger I referred to was actually Iris, Goddess of the Rainbow, so I’m cheating a little bit here in claiming this image for the sun. (Though I did mention the possibility that the sun was shining out of my…)
The photograph was one of many taken that day by my lovely friend Sara and is posted with her permission.

Even the Moon has scars – breasts in a crystal mirror

I was enormously pleased with my photograph Even the Moon has Scars which was posted back on September 10, 2017. It was very tricky to get my breast positioned over the crystal hand mirror, and I loved the way my hand, wrist and Mum’s bracelet all appeared in the image. The title was actually a follow up reference to an earlier post entitled The Body Beautiful where I talked about women’s bodies, Mum’s body and artists who have worked with their own and other peoples aging, scarred or non-stereotypical bodies.

Finally, the stars come in the form of blue sequinned pasties which were part of my pre-Christmas post for 2017 Stars at Midday.

  1. Fabulous photos – I particularly like that first one – the sun shining out from between your legs – so the sun really does shine out your arse 😉 xx

    • Thanks lovely. I am happy to be blogging again. I do need to take it easy and may miss every second week on each of the memes but I will be around. Glad you enjoyed images, the prompt was amazing! Xx
